Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco (R-25) released the following statement regarding the latest I-80 repair update:

“I’m pleased to see that all three lanes on I-80 westbound are expected to reopen ahead of schedule,” said Sen. Bucco. “This is welcomed news for residents, commuters, and businesses who have been incredibly patient throughout the construction. Thank you to the NJDOT crews for working tirelessly to complete this extremely important project. However, as we come to the conclusion of this horrible situation, I continue to urge motorists to drive with caution as overnight lane closures will be in place this week to finalize the project."
